Tony Nominations Announced: “Fela!” and “La Cage aux Folles” Rewarded
“Fela!” and “La Cage aux Folles” are huge winners in yesterday’s Tony nominations. The Tony is awarded for excellence in theatre and is named for Antoinette Perry. The nominations recognize top productions, performances, and work on Broadway shows. This years Tony’s presentation will be broadcast live by CBS, from the Radio City Music Hall, on Sunday June 13th.
