Glee Ratings Continue to Soar – Broadway Bound?

By titn • on April 28, 2010

The FOX television show GLEE has become the seasons highest-rated scripted show according to Deadline.com.  Glee “averaged a 5.3 rating/14 share among adults 18-49 after American Idol, flat from last week’s heavily promoted Madonna episode.”  FOX has already ordered a second season of the show and is reportedly looking to cast three new actors for roles on the program.

Glee is taking its show on the road when it performs multiple dates in Phoenix, AZ, Universal City, CA, New York City, and Rosemont, IL.  Those performances sold out almost immediately, but GLEE Live! Tickets can still be found on StubSearch.com.  Based on the success of the show and previous ticket sales, FOX executives are likely considering a more robust tour in the future and possibly even a opening on Broadway.
